Primary Responsibilities

A Day in the Life:

As the Facilities Manager, no two days are alike! Your morning might start with overseeing the part-time Facility Assistant, ensuring the barn is spotless and all equipment is functioning smoothly. From coordinating with contractors on building repairs to maintaining pastures and fences, your role is crucial to keeping everything running seamlessly. Throughout the day, you’ll monitor safety procedures, collaborate with staff across departments, and manage the schedule for equipment maintenance. Whether you’re repairing mechanical systems, stocking hay, or prepping the arena for a session, your day will be a dynamic mix of physical work and problem-solving.

Qualifications & Required Skills

You Would Thrive in This Position If:

  • You are a hands-on, mechanically inclined individual who enjoys working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • You have 3+ years of experience managing facilities, especially in farm or ranch operations, and are comfortable with a variety of maintenance tasks from carpentry to HVAC.
  • You love working with people and animals, and have a natural ability to lead teams, motivate others, and communicate clearly.
  • You take pride in keeping spaces safe, clean, and well-organized, ensuring that every visitor feels the care and attention to detail that Agape provides.
  • You’re able to juggle multiple priorities, from managing budgets to overseeing vendors, and thrive when empowered to make decisions independently.
  • You are passionate about our mission and want to be part of a team that fosters healing, joy, and growth through unique horse-facilitated experiences.

 

This position requires a valid Driver’s License, reliable personal transportation, and the ability to coordinate and complete tasks at multiple locations.
