Job Description
The Program Coordinator & Instructor is a dual-role position responsible for supporting the operations of Agape’s equine-assisted programs and providing direct instruction in alignment with PATH Intl. standards. This position serves as the primary owner of program data and documentation, supports participant and volunteer coordination, and contributes to the successful execution of program deliverables, including those tied to grant reporting.

Primary Responsibilities
I. Administrative & Data Management
- Maintain accurate participant, volunteer, and attendance data in Salesforce.
- Manage registration paperwork, annual renewals, and documentation.
- Generate monthly data reports and dashboards to support evaluation and grant reporting.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency for program evaluation and compliance.
II. Participant & Volunteer Coordination
- Communicate program updates and reminders to participants and caregivers.
- Assist with participant scheduling and lesson assignments.
- Support volunteer recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and record-keeping.
- Maintain volunteer records, including background checks and liability releases.
III. Instructional Duties
- Plan and deliver safe, engaging, and effective equine-assisted services (TR, EAL, camps, etc.) following PATH Intl. standards.
- Assess rider progress and adapt lesson plans to meet individual needs.
- Supervise and support volunteers assisting with lessons.
- Document lesson attendance and participant progress accurately and promptly.
IV. Equine & Program Support
- Assist with horse training, conditioning, and readiness for programming.
- Ensure proper tack and equipment care and readiness.
- Support volunteer training in horse care and handling.
V. Grant & Partnership Support
- Provide accurate program data, metrics, and stories to support grant proposals and reporting.
- Track participant demographics and outcomes required for partnership deliverables.
- Assist in collecting stories, photos, and qualitative impact data for program reporting and communications.
Qualifications & Required Skills
- Experience in administrative support, volunteer coordination, or related fields preferred.
- PATH Intl. CTRI certification required or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
- Experience with horse training or equine care preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in database management, Microsoft Office, and communication tools.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Passion for serving individuals through equine-assisted programs.
