The Blueprint for Hope: Stony Creek Update

If you’ve visited our Cicero location recently, you’ve likely felt the energy of a program bursting at the seams. While our current home has served us well for decades, the demand for the healing power of horses has reached an all-time high. Today, we are proud to pull back the curtain on the solution: The Stony Creek Campus.

Following a rigorous selection process, Agape has officially named Meyer Building as our construction partner for this historic expansion.

A Vision Born from Necessity

Currently, Agape faces a heart breaking reality: a waitlist of more than 200 individuals eager to experience our life-changing programs. The Stony Creek project is our answer to that need.

Located in Noblesville, the 46 acre property, once the beloved site of the Stonycreek Farm harvest festival and Christmas tree lot was generously donated by a supporter who recognized that Agape needed room to grow. Now, we are ready to transform this historic land into a world-class headquarters.

“This campus will allow us to expand our impact, serve significantly more individuals, and provide a permanent home where our horses and programs can thrive year-round. It’s an investment in our mission, our community, and the future of Agape.”Denisse Jensen, Executive Director of Agape

The Master Plan: World-Class Facilities

Working with Meyer Building, we have designed a phased construction plan to build a site that prioritizes both participant accessibility and equine wellness. The $14 million total investment will feature:

  • Year-Round Capabilities: Two indoor, all-weather arenas and one outdoor/open-air arena.

  • Expanded Capacity: 24 horse stalls and a dedicated small animal barn for our miniature horses.

  • Operational Excellence: A new hay barn, maintenance barn, and space for private boarding.

  • Community Heart: The renovation of an historic 1800s-era barn to serve as a gathering space for events and community connection.

A Mission-Aligned Partnership

Meyer Building was selected not just for their expertise with complex rural projects, but for their commitment to the “why” behind our work.

“Meyer Building is humbled and honored to partner with Agape… We are committed to providing physical buildings, but more importantly to helping bring our partner’s vision to life.” > — Matthew Gerber, Owner of Meyer Building

The Next Milestone: Groundbreaking

The journey officially begins this spring. We plan to break ground on the hay barn as the inaugural step in the relaunch of our Beyond the Barn capital campaign.

This project is a massive undertaking, but at Agape, we know that “massive” is just another word for “possible” when our community stands together. Every nail and every stall is a testament to the fact that no one should have to wait for the hope that a horse can provide.
