What if you could personally help a child go from struggling to smiling with the help of horses?
That’s what’s happening at Agape East in Hancock County.
Agape East serves 65 children and adults with disabilities each week. This week, I watched an excited group of students as they groomed horses. There were plenty of squeals of delight, laughter, and lots of smiles. Some of the students were non-verbal, but they said plenty through their massive grins.
Later, an elated rider and her mom arrived early for their lesson to give one of the instructors a special gift as a thank you for helping them get ready for Agape’s annual Mane Event Horse Show. As the rider saw the instructor, her eyes lit up with joy and a big smile spread across her face.
When you come to the barn and watch a group of riders during a lesson, do you know what you’ll see? You guessed it–smiles! Lots of them, including the horses.
There are over 30+ more smiles waiting to be served at Agape. With your help we can expand our impact to serve those currently on our waiting list. It’s time to grow Agape East in Greenfield!
I’m asking you today for a special gift to Agape to help us grow in Greenfield.
I’ve seen first-hand what your gifts do for riders supported by caring people like you. And I’ve seen first-hand what it means to the rider. A family’s life is given unbridled hope, love and joy because of your generosity
